M.M.S. Honda CB250RS

Matsu Maru Speed and Customs from Japan made this wonderful CB250.  The lowness evokes a sense of speed, and the bare metal reminds me of the look of a WWII Mustang fighterplane.

Custom Buell

I’m not an expert on Buell’s by any means, so I could be wrong here.  This appears to be a custom Buell Lightning, and unlike just about any Buell model, this looks really good.  While I appreciated the awesome engineering that went into Buell’s, their looks just left so much to be desired.  This custom has a little bit of a Ducati feel, while still maintaining a definite Harley presence.  Wish I had more shots of this beauty.

La Raiz BMW R100/7

For some reason, scrambler style bikes really don’t appeal to me.  Maybe it’ss because I was never raised with access to dirtbikes, I don’t know.  I do know that this scrambler really does appeal to me though.  I don’t question what tickles my fancy anymore, I just go with it, no matter how illogical it seems.  Little details abound on this build, and the entire motorcycle invokes a very retro feel.

Nesco Comet Deluxe

i recently purchased a vintage helmet off eBay, a Nesco Comet Deluxe.  It’s not in good condition, but it was purchased for it’s character, and now resides on my shelf, looking bad-ass.  I’ve seen a few references that says these helmets were made by Shoei, but I haven’t been able to confirm that.  All I’ve found is a few eBay listings that state they were manufactured by Shoei, but nothing to prove it.  Anyone know more?

Speed Triple

I still think the first generation Speed Triple from Triumph is the best, the latter editions went the streetfighter route, and the bug-eyed headlights just look too strange and ugly.  The mark 1 is just a classic in my book!

BTRMoto’s TC Sport

Erik Buell isn’t the only one taking Harley engines and turning them into something sports oriented.  Curt Winter, owner of BTRmoto has been making custom motorcycles since the 1990’s, and his TC Sport is agreat example of his work.

Mauro’s Ducati

There’s something about singles.  That one lone piston providing all the power, truly deserving of the title “thumpers”.  Mauro di Prospero took a 350 Ducati single and crafted this awesome cafe racer.  That Ducati engine (is there anything mechanical the Italians can’t make sexy!) is just drop-dead gorgeous, and the custom bodywork compliments it perfectly!  The little touches like the lightened shift lever are the icing on the cake.

Studio Motors Ninja 250

My first bike was a 1989 Kawasaki Ninja 250, and while I only had it a year, it still holds a special place in my heart.  Studio Motors took a 250 Ninja and created this stunner in red.  For a motor that was never really designed to be visible, the little 250 looks great out in the open!  I can’t help but think of the Thundercats with that logo on the tank!

Kawasaki Cafe

A nice Kawa-cafe, these pictures are at least five years old, so there’s not a lot I could find out.  I really like the tail section, a style that I usually don’t  find attractive, yet it works here.  The custom tank is nice, too!  Not so much feeling the blue on the engine, though.
